The 2027 Ford Explorer available in St. Louis is a three-row SUV with a starting MSRP of $38,465* on Explorer Active. Ford seats six or seven people, depending on the model. Second-row captain's chairs are standard, and a second-row bench that adds a seventh passenger is available on every model except Tremor®. A 2.3L EcoBoost® I-4 rated at 300 horsepower is standard on Active, ST-Line, Tremor, and Platinum™. Explorer ST uses a 3.0L EcoBoost® V6 rated at 400 horsepower, and that V6 is available on Tremor and Platinum. Where the 50-State Emissions System is required, Ford rates the 3.0L at 385 horsepower on Tremor and ST and 383 horsepower on Platinum. When properly equipped, maximum towing is 5,000 lbs*. Maximum cargo space is 85.8 cubic feet on Active and ST-Line and 85.3 cubic feet on Tremor, Platinum, and ST, with 16.3 cubic feet behind the third row. Four-wheel drive is available. The 2027 Ford Explorer for sale in St. Louis adds Avalanche Gray and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat for the new model year. Vapor Blue Metallic, Star White Metallic Tri-coat, and Marsh Gray are extra-cost colors on select trims. Explorer ST adds sport-tuned suspension, performance brakes with red-painted calipers, and the available Sinister Package with 21-inch Gloss Black-painted wheels and black-outlined ST badges.

The Ford Security Package is available on 2027 Explorer models and is included for a year from the new-vehicle warranty start date.

Platinum comes equipped with BlueCruise hands-free highway driving, with a 1-year plus 90-day plan included. Explorer ST is also BlueCruise equipped.
